City-wide Force Main Expansion
Three HDD installations totaling 5,600 LF of 38-inch OD HDPE force main in hard shale/limestone.
The Clear Fork Force Main project included three HDD installations beneath the Union Pacific railroad and Chisholm Trail Parkway, Trinity River, and Fort Worth Railroad. Each crossing involved the installation of a 38-inch HDPE pipe through a 56-inch steel casing, with additional annular space grouting for settlement protection.
- Three HDD installations at three different sites.
- 38-inch diameter HDPE force main.
- 56-inch steel surface casing.
- Annular space grouting.
Using the Direct Pipe method, a 4,900-foot-long, 42-inch-diameter steel pipe was seamlessly installed, creating a crucial link for a natural gas transmission pipeline.
Electrical conduits seamlessly link Coconut Grove substation to the Simpson substation to increase reliability of an existing power grid.
Enhancing grid resilience and fortifying Miami-Dade County's electrical infrastructure with the Alton-Venetian 69kV Underground Transmission Line.
Electrical conduits installed beneath Interstate Highway 66 enhance the eastern seaboard power grid.
